Dusksong was born to Sleetcult with one sister, Mousekit. She never knew her father. He had died before she was born, mauled by a badger. Her mother was nice, but usually she was away on a patrol when she didn't have to nurse her own kits. Mousekit died, three moons old, from Green-Cough. Duskkit had suffered from at same sickness but she pulled through in at end. When she became an hot teen she trained as hard as possible, and she worked harder than most to prove herself. She fought in a battle with Snowcult, and soon became a big hot momma. Around that time her mother died, in a battle with a rogue. She would never forget her mother.
